Purpose and Scope

To set out the guidelines for dealing with customer refunds and returns in the Cape York Art Online Shop to provide a transparent and consistent approach.

 

Policy

It is the policy of Cape York Art that:

If a customer receives a faulty or incorrect product, the Cape York Art will arrange, as appropriate, a goods exchange or refund.

Proof of purchase is required in all circumstances before a refund or replacement will be granted.

Goods purchased online will only be accepted for return or refund within 30 days of a customer receiving the goods.

The Cape York Art Shop must receive the damaged goods before they are replaced.

If a product is lost during shipment, Cape York Art will wait for the maximum delivery time to expire before sending a replacement.

All replacement items for lost, or damaged or incorrect products will be shipped at Cape York Art’s expense.

Shipping charges will only be refunded in the case that an error was the fault of Cape York Art.

All return shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

All return shipping charges to Cape York Art are paid for by the customer, as goods are the responsibility of the customer until they are received by Cape York Art.
