lino print Sour Yam I

$500.00

This print is about the Sour Yam which was the totem place for our most senior, Kokoberrin lore man. Before his death, he passed this totem place and name on to my brother, Shaun Edwards Kalk. This print represents the Sour Yam under the ground and the thousands of tiny leaves that grow on the vine just after the wet season. It is at this time that the yam is plentiful throughout our homelands and is gathered for eating.
