In addition to making and selling art, we also work with individuals and organisations to enhance their cultural understanding through a range of consulting services.

Our aim is to share some of the distinctive cultures of Cape York with audiences and create partnership opportunities on creative and commercial projects.

We have recently engaged in collaborative arts and cultural projects with these innovative and like-minded organizations; Kokoberrin Aboriginal Corporation, Black Drum Productions, Acuro Enhancing Business, RKP Designs, Lovegreen Photography, Lowitja Institute, Destination Q + Destination IQ, Pullman Cairns International – Indigenous Health Research Program-QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Galimba, ITEC Australia, Cairns Regional Council.

These creative partnerships include design commissions for corporate documents such as annual reports and Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs), public art commissions or corporate gifts for conferences and events. We work with you to develop an artwork or design that illustrates your theme and promotes your key messages in bold visual ways that cut through to reach your intended audience.

When you engage Cape York Art to assist in delivering your arts and cultural project, you are also supporting on country language and cultural revival activities on our Homelands through the Kokoberrin Tribal Aboriginal Corporation.

Support Our Work

Your support of Cape York Art through a purchase will allow our artists to build on their achievements and continue the momentum from previous years. We are keen to work with artists and a limited selection of their best designs to a new level by partnering with several Australian based companies, we will work with artists to develop their designs in a culturally appropriate way to produce a new innovative giftware range.

We are also interested in helping our artists develop their knowledge of copyright and licensing. We also offer small business advice and assistance to our artists whom wish to learn more about managing their own sustainable businesses.

Cape York Art is an exciting new business model and through it, artists are invited to work together to develop a shared vision which is to promote the Cape York Art Movement, further our creative development and participate in opportunities and maintain sustainable incomes from our creative enterprises.
