The coolamon and clap stick set crafted by Olivia and Trevor Peckham are commissioned by Cape York Art as limited-edition sets. These pieces pay homage to a deep-rooted connection to heritage.

Having called Gimuy (Cairns) home for over 35 years, Olivia and Trevor bring more than three decades of expertise in Aboriginal art and artefacts to their craft. Their coolamons and clap sticks are created from naturally sourced timber, each piece unique in its raw rustic charm and finished with a smooth varnish that highlights the wood’s organic beauty. These one-of-a-kind items are not only functional and artistic but stand as a testament to the enduring legacy and creative spirit of their Wiradjuri and Wakka Wakka Nations.
